报告题目：三维微环境对细胞迁移行为的调控

摘要：Cell migration in fibrous extracellular matrix (ECM) is crucial to many physiological and pathological processes. Migrating cells generate active pulling forces by actomyosin contraction, which are transmitted to the ECM via focal adhesion complexes and remodel the ECM, leading to the formation of mesoscale structures such as fiber bundles “bridging” the cells. The role of such mesoscale structures in transmitting active tensile forces generated by contractile cells and in regulating collective multi-cellular migratory behaviors remains to be clarified. This talk introduces our recent theoretical and experimental investigations on how the remodeled fiber bundles and ECM may regulate cell migration and correlated multi-cellular dynamics.

叶方富，1999年毕业于北京大学，获天文学及经济学双学士学位，2007年获美国宾夕法尼亚大学物理学博士学位，之后相继在美国肯特州立大学、伊利诺伊大学、佐治亚理工学院从事博士后研究，2013年入选中科院“百人计划”，现为中国科学院物理研究所研究员、软物质物理实验室副主任，中国科学院大学温州研究院副院长。其主要研究方向为软凝聚态物理与生物物理，近年来在活性物质、细胞行为调控、新型生物材料性能研究等方面取得了一系列研究成果。截至目前，已在PNAS、Physical Review Letters、Chemical Society Reviews、National Science Review、Lab on a Chip等学术期刊上发表60多篇学术论文。
