报告摘要：One of Ramanujan's most beautiful formulae is connected to a congruence for the coefficients of a specific q-series obtained from the generating function of partitions by 5-dissection. Congruences and q-series are not only objects Ramanujan was very much interested in, but they are both very central to number theory. We present an intrinsic congruence (valid in general for power series) modulo the square of an odd prime, and also its q-analogue, together with a couple of sample applications.

报告人介绍：

Michael J. Schlosser现任奥地利维也纳大学数学系教授。他在维也纳大学师从Christian Krattenthaler完成博士学位，曾先后任职于美国俄亥俄州立大学与西北大学，随后重返维也纳执教。Michael J. Schlosser的研究聚焦于组合数学、特殊函数与数论领域，是多元基本与椭圆超几何级数及其组合学关联研究的权威学者。他已发表近百篇学术论文，成果散见于《Advances in Mathematics》、《Compositio Mahematica》《Transactions of the American Mathematical Society》等多本知名期刊。目前他担任《Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications》、《The Ramanujan Journal》、《Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics》等多家学术期刊编委，并长期致力于学术服务——曾两度担任拉马努金奖评审委员会委员，参与各类评审专家组及专业委员会工作。
