摘要 ：The geometric Airy curve flow is a third-order dispersive evolution equation of curves emerging from the research of vortex filament equations. In this talk, we study the Cauchy problem of the geometric Airy curve flow into Riemannian manifolds. For the Euclidean case, Terng proved the global existence for closed curves with trivial normal bundle holonomy. Our main result is the global well-posedness of the flow in the setting of a general Riemannian manifold, without any restriction on the normal holonomy. This is a joint work with Ze Li.

报告人简介：

宋翀，厦门大学数学科学学院副院长，教授，博士生导师，国家级高层次青年人才。研究领域为几何分析，特别是在哈密尔顿型几何流，调和映照和杨-米尔斯-希格斯场的爆破分析中取得原创性研究成果，论文发表在J. Reine Angew. Math., J. Diff. Geom., Math. Ann., JFA, IMRN, CVPDE等期刊上。
