报告题目：NORMALIZED SOLUTIONS OF THE 1-D NONLINEAR SCHO¨RDINGER EQUATION

摘要 ：In this talk we will present an alternative approach to the normalized solutions (λ, u) of the 1-D nonlinear Sch¨ordinger equation: −u 00 + λu = g(u), x ∈ R, Z R u 2 dx = a > 0. (1) Given λ > 0, it is easy to see there is a solution uλ ∈ H1 (R) of (2) −u 00 + λu = g(u), which is called a homolinic solution in dynamical systems. We will give a detail analysis of R R u 2 λ dx as λ varies from 0 to ∞. As consequences, some well known results of solutions of (1) are recovered and new uniqueness results are obtained.

报告人简介：

蒋美跃，北京大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。1989年7月于北京大学获理学博士学位，1999年起任北京大学数学科学学院教授，主要研究领域为非线性分析与非线性微分方程，包括哈密顿系统周期解存在性，辛几何中Lagrange子流形相交问题的Arnold猜测，ROF泛函极小问题，1-Laplace算子的特征值问题等。承担多项国家自然科学基金面上项目和重点项目，在国内外重要学术期刊Ann.Inst.H.PoincareAnal.、 Manuscript Math.、 Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations、 J.Differential Equations、 Proc. Roy. Soc.Edinburgh Sect.A等发表过多篇具有国际影响力的论文，也曾作为访问学者在多所国外高校和研究所访问交流。
